- Spread the Word about Friendly Planet's work in Congo:
- Repost our articles on your blog or Facebook page
- Talk to your congregation and community groups
- Contact your local news stations and media outlets
- Host a Congo-awareness party at your house
- Donate and Raise $$$
- Organize fundraisers to support Friendly Planet-sponsored projects. Be as creative as you want. You can raise money for Friendly Planet's general fund or designate it for specific initiatives such as:
- Transportation and Tools for church leaders: (Started as the bikes and farm tools project, but has expanded to include boats, laptops, motorcycle-ambulances and other equipment that can make a large impact)
- Construction Efforts: (Local communities contribute the labor and handmade bricks; we help with the cost of things like cement and roofing for clinics, school, churches, and parsonages)
- Education: scholarships, training, and related support for leaders and their children
- Donate Your Time and Talent
- Our staff is small and can't do it all, so we depend on volunteers in the USA and Congo to help us with everything from paperwork and phone calls to designing our website and managing our e-mail list.
